This week was a good week. Everything went smoothly and just stuffing envolopes all week. I cannot complain! It was a nice thing taking a picture with Kira, she is a good human. We are all getting more then co workers, we are friends. Not looking forward to being done there in a few weeks but I will always appreciate everything they have done for me, especially Kira and Carol.
This week was a short week at the office. I worked Tuesday which was pretty good. Then on Wednesday we had class favorites so we could not work, and I woke up thursday with pink eye which was bitter sweet. The plate I made was pretty I thought, I am not very artsy. But, I tried my best because it was for Kiara. She is thebomb.com
This week was a long week. It wasn't bad thought! we did the same thing every time as soon we got there. Such as checking the tray for writing papers, doing receipts, and then doing return mail, it is a daily routine and I cannot complain at all! also paige did beat me in labeling:(((
This week was a good week overall. It was a normal week at the office where I show up, get the required things I do first there out of the way like check the printer to see if we are low on papers. Then, I do receipts, then I do return mail. The rest of the time, I do whatever they give me which could be anything. I am really starting connect with the employees where I work at. I am starting to get to know them personally and their outside of work life!
This week was a quite boring week. I filed papers all the time I was there this week, but it was better than doing nothing. When you are doing something, time goes by a lot faster than when you are not doing anything. That is why this job is not so bad because I am usually always doing something and not just sitting there. It can be boring, but at least I am doing something right!

Candela Career Field Experience 27 November 2016 Macomb Treasury Office “Work isn't to make money; you work to justify life. ~Marc Chagall” This quote relates to my placement because this internship is not just for the money I am getting. This is just a plus. This job is to prepare me for the real world and see what an actual work environment is like. In my career field experience class I was required to write about what I did for the week I was at the office. This class is a unique class because it is the only class where I get experience instead of sitting there listening to a teacher talk the whole time. For thirteen weeks, I gained a lot skills that I learned through the class. I will outline the three major things that I gained through the weeks of the first trimester which are adaptability, loyalty, problem solving. First of all, adaptability was a skill I picked up through the thirteen weeks. Which means to adjust to an activity that you are not used to doing or a routine that is different than your own. When I first started to work this job, I was not used it at all. Leaving school, hurrying up and going home and changing clothes into nicer clothes, and getting there by 2:15. It started out to be treacherous, but the more I did it, three times a week, I got used to it and put it into my daily routine. This skill will help me in the future because it will be easier to adapt to going to work everyday and not make adapting feel like the worst thing in the world. Loyalty is a major skill that I have more of because of my thirteen weeks. Loyalty means to be supportive, put care into your work, show up on time, and to be consistent. When you are a co-op, you aren't there to slack off and not give a hundred percent. You are there to do the work the boss assigns you too, and to put quality and character into it, not just slop something together. Like in school for my math classes I was not loyal at all, I slacked and didn't give it my all. Well here I have to because it is something that goes out into the real world. If you are not loyal to your job, It will not end well. When I am working, I make sure that i'm on time and always double check my work so it will match their satisfaction level so they will be positive to me and say positive things about me. Lastly, problem solving is a major key when it comes to work. It means that when a problem comes up, you use any method you can think of to make the problem not be a problem anymore. When you solve a problem, it is a nice feeling in the inside because you know you did something good. When I first started working here, I wasn't very good at problem solving because I did not know how to do anything because I was new. Over the past thirteen weeks, I learn more and more every day and it shows. Whenever a problem comes up, let it be major or minor, I have a good chance and solving it because I have experience in the field. Problem solving is the best trait to have when it comes to the work life. When I gave my evaluation to my employer and we went over it, I related to all the strengths and weaknesses that she wrote down. My major strengths are showing up on time, and good quality on my work. My weakness was taking longer to finish work. Which is because I try to make my work as neat as possible and make it look good. I will only get better at this. All in all, this class changed me as a person because it helped me understand what a day in the life of a worker is like. Working at the treasury office gave me a good perspective on how the taxes are handled. The moment that I will not forget is when a very rude man came inside the office because he was upset because he owed money. Which showed me people will not always be nice even when it is their own fault. In conclusion, this experience will help me in the future with resumes and do my taxes with the new knowledge that I picked up. I would recommend this course to a friend. This week was doing the same thing, doing receipts, return mail, and putting together packets. but then, the most exciting thing happened to me ever since I have been there. A fire drill!!!!!!!!! We got to go outside and stay there for about 45 slappin minutes!! Then when we got back inside, they send everyone home early because they couldn't shut off the fire alarm!!!!!!!
A quote that always gets me through the day is so simple but yet so powerful if you think about it in terms of work, school, sports or anything. "just keep swimming"- Dory. You can compare it to like just keep living, it will get better or you can just keep swimming to get what you're doing done with. Motivation is the key. This week at the office was exciting for me. I learned how to answer phones and actually talk to people. Not going to lie, it was a bit more nerve recking than I thought even though I love talking. If I mess something up, I really am in trouble. But it did add some excitement into my week. That is one of my worst problems, always thinking of the worst thing that can happen. But, that is not my biggest problem. My biggest problem is procrastination. It has gotten to the point where I give my mom my phone and I lock myself in my room and I can't do anything until I get my work done, that is how i control it. But I am getting better at it. I used to be doing my homework, then Id find myself at the store, then home trying to do cool tricks with my dog.
This week was a good week. I did all my work on time and made sure that I did everything correctly. Sometimes the drive is rough but oh well what can you do. I am talking a lot more to everyone in the office.
